Delta-Revision TT
Building on the benefits of the Delta TT Cup and the Delta ONE TT Cup, the Delta Revision TT Cup provides a special solution for the most difficult revision cases. The Delta Revision Cup uses the unique features of the Delta system, the Trabecular Titanium structure, auguations and spacers, and also provides advanced fixation capabilities to provide primary bowl stability.Delta Revision TT is a hemispherical cementless acetabulum made of trabecular titanium using commercially pure titanium suitable for revision and reconstruction of the acetabulum. The bowl is presented with a tail hook and 3 upper "mustaches", which can be used to improve the primary fixation of the cup in cases where there are large defects of the acetabulum and bone loss.
Greater mechanical stability is ensured by a press fit between the cup and the acetabulum: a difference of 1.6 mm with the acetabulum extenders ensures initial close contact with the bone.
The Trabecular Titanium structure helps to achieve primary mechanical stability due to the extremely high coefficient of friction in contact with the bone and secondary fixation due to the ability of Trabecular Titanium to stimulate bone ingrowth due to its osteoinductive and osteoconductive potential, leading to good osseointegration.
A cup using a spacer allows you to separate fixation and biomechanics. This advantage allows you to place the cup in a healthier bone, then biomechanics can be restored using spacers. In case of acetabular defects, augments also made from Trabecular Titanium can be used to help fill these voids and help restore the natural center of rotation of the hips and biomechanics.
